As the head of the international marketing department of Chongqing Tongzhilu New Materials Technology Co., Ltd., I am honored to share with you our milestone international trade case in 2024 - the successful export of 6,500 tons of feed-grade solid methionine to Russia through the China-Europe Express. The project started negotiations in the first quarter of 2024. After one month of technical consultations and business negotiations, an annual supply agreement with a total value of RMB 120 million was officially signed in March 2024.

In response to the strict moisture resistance, fluidity and heavy metal residue requirements of Russian customers for methionine products, we have specially optimized the microencapsulation process to control the free amino acid content below 0.8%. At the same time, we innovatively adopted three-layer composite aluminum foil vacuum packaging technology to ensure that the product remains stable under extreme climate conditions of minus 30 degrees to 50 degrees. Through the verification of 117 indicators by a third-party testing agency in Novosibirsk, our key product parameters are all better than the requirements of EEC No 1831/2003 standard.

In the logistics link, we creatively adopted the multimodal transport solution of "Yuxinou Railway + Russian Railway Cold Chain Special Train", and achieved 22-day door-to-door delivery through the customized constant temperature container special train departing from Chongqing Tuanjiecun Station, which shortened the transportation cycle by 18 days compared with traditional sea transportation. It is particularly worth emphasizing that the "One Belt, One Road Freight Insurance Special Clauses" we developed in conjunction with China Life Insurance successfully controlled the cargo damage rate within 0.3‰, a decrease of 67% compared with the industry average.

The successful implementation of this project not only helped Russian partners reduce feed costs by 12%, but also marked the first time that my country has achieved import substitution for EU companies in the field of high-end amino acid additives. We are currently taking this opportunity to negotiate with the Russian side to establish a joint R&D center, and it is expected that by 2025, we will add 5,000 tons/year of customized production capacity.
